April is National Volunteer Month

April is National Volunteer Month, a time to highlight the importance of community service and recognize the impact volunteers have on creating positive change!
National Volunteer Month began in Canada during World War II to thank people for supporting the war effort by volunteering their time. In 1974, U.S. President Richard Nixon established National Volunteer Week. Over time, the week evolved into a movement that gained widespread recognition and support.
